Shopping Challenge at TARGET

Remember the good ol’ days when you could easily buy a complete outfit for under $100?
It seems these days it can be hard to find the perfect full look (whether it’d be casual or dressy), there are so many brands out there to choose from and sometimes a girl doesn’t have more than $50-$100 to spend especially for only a top or a pair of bottoms. Can I get an Amen!

So, my friend Kayla from @Kaylamari3 and I agreed to collaborate together on a shopping challenge to none other than Target! Target I feel is such an underrated place to shop for clothes but believe it or not, they actually have some amazing clothing pieces and what’s even better? At affordable prices!

Kayla and I wanted to reach out to 2 separate types of girls for this challenge. My spending limit was $100 or less for a casual/chic look and Kayla’s was $200 and under for a chic/casual look. It was a bit challenging at first, but we pretty much tried on almost every garment you can think of! It was so much fun to play with all these different styles they have to offer. One of the brands that I was drawn to the most was their Wild Fable collection. For what I was going for I definitely was able to find my entire look for a whopping $94! (Not including tax).

For my casual/chic look I went with this cropped flannel jacket in color lavender, this color will be a popular one for the colder seasons ahead and can blend perfectly into any look you desire.
With that I found these really cool cargo pants that gave me I.AM.GIA vibes and they almost look like something from their brand, topped with these platinum silver heels from A New Day collection, hat by Mossimo and this super simple yet stylish mini crossover fanny bag by Wild Fable.

I was able to curate this complete look from head to toe so the girl under $100 can wear this casually while she’s out and about on the town, having a lunch date with friends or running errands for the day. You’ll feel comfortable throughout the whole time wearing this look!

For Kayla’s look we wanted to reach out to the girl that has a special event to attend for the day/night or an important business meeting to go to. We found this super chic 2-piece suit from Who What Wear collection, snake top and crossbody bag by Wild Fable and shoes by A New Day. This look from head to toe came out to a total of $147 (not including tax). Imagine this complete outfit that looks way more expensive than it actually costs?? Seems almost unreal!
