Fly Away

Winter is in the air? Looks like it from we've been seeing in Los Angeles lately.
I love it when you can wake up one day and not really expect it to be under 70 degrees for the day and then once you look outside all you see is gloomy skies with a side of wind and next thing you know, rain makes a surprise guest! Those are always my favorite kind of days, I love that we can sometimes get a break from the sun and feel like we're in Winter season all over again. So, I decided to dress the part with this look. I've never really owned a bodysuit in my wardrobe until now and what I love about them is that they give you the element of surprise by thinking that you just tucked your top inside your pants, but on the contrary! I find bodysuits to be much more convenient to wear. It's a simple go-to piece if you're ever in a rush to step out somewhere. This one I purchased at Nasty Gal for for under $50 and what mostly caught my eye about this piece is the turtleneck-like collar, it doesn't fully hug your neck, but instead it still gives you some breathing space if you maybe want to add a choker with it or leave by itself. I also purchased these spandex olive green pants at Urban Outfitters that I feel go hand-and-hand with this ivory color from the bodysuit. And of course, an outfit wouldn't be complete for me without a leather jacket and some shades to top it off! I already had a sense of looking like a plane pilot so what better way than to shoot next to an airport. I love the casualty of this look, it brings a lot of chicness to it with a touch of rock 'n roll, which is definitely one of my favorite styles right now.

Stay Loud, xo.
